HNN3.0 | NCP Training on Ethics in Horizon Europe and Staff Exchange

Paris, France

The Health NCP Network 3.0 is launching the second Staff Exchange on the 2nd and 3rd of October 2024, in Paris. This Staff Exchange (SE) is hosted by the French Horizon Europe NCPs and will offer to the CL1 NCPs the possibility to exchange best-practices and working methods on their role as CL1 NCPs. Participants will have also the opportunity to understand how to better engage the national research community to identify the national health research priorities in order to influence in the definition of the cluster health work programmes. The SE programme also includes a visit to the Institute Pasteur.

The Staff Exchange is limited to a maximum of 8 CL1 NCPs who must be enrolled also in the training in the following day.

The third on-site NCP training will be in Paris, on 3rd and 4th of October 2024, back-to-back with the Staff Exchange event. The main aim of this HNN 3.0 on-site training is bring awareness to the Cl1 NCPs on ethics and to understand on how to better support applicants on answering the ethics sections of collaborative R&I projects under Horizon Europe. The outcome of the training is to gain knowledge on how to identify ethical issues in the proposals and to better orient applicants in their replies to ethical section and annex. A focus will be made on real cases and AI. The training will be a mix of theory and practice and will be limited to 25 NCPs.
